Noah loves to play the piano, and I think he's pretty good for a 17 month old.
Usually he doesn't need the mouse to get started, perhaps he is exploring digital music.

Spaceship Book
Noah loves his Star Wars spaceships book, and likes to help read it by reading the sounds listed with each spaceship.
Subtitles: Zoom! Zip! Whoosh! Zap! Boom!
Impressive, huh? We were kind of astounded when he started doing this, since we didn't teach him to do it, we just read the book a few times. Apparently he was really paying attention.
An uncanny ability to retain information about Star Wars? Perhaps another early sign of a budding engineer?

jumping buddies
Noah's friend Caroline came over for a playdate this morning, and they had a very good time. Caroline is an excellent jumper.
(they also play with each other without our constant direction, they just don't do so in frame)

Today's video
In which Noah shows off many of the cute things he can do
My favorite part of this video was showing it to him after I had recorded it. He was cracking up watching himself.
My least favorite part was when I decided enough is enough after showing it to him five times and apparently totally broke his heart by putting away the phone. Drama. Sigh.

We all scream
It was gorgeous and hot the other day, so we took a walk down to JP licks after dinner and got Noah his first ice cream cone (previous attempts at ice cream have always involved spoons). He didn't really get it.
He liked the ice cream, but didn't understand why the delivery had to be so cold.
Luckily the fun of having the same ice cream as daddy made up for the difficulty in actually eating it.

From the "wow, he doesn't need me" dept
Noah can manage the playground just fine on his own, thank you.

Jump
I know, I know, I fail at blogging. Here's a video to make you feel better about it. Noah is learning how to jump!
