Dirt Bath

Some friends came over for dinner, and Eva and Lev disappeared under the climber. We investigated and found they were giving themselves dirt baths.

 

Hopefully dusty backyard dirt is good for the skin!

Grandma and Grandpa's

We had a lovely visit with Grandpa and Grandma. First, Noah and Eva went through all of the toy birds with Grandpa

 

Then the "instruments" (i.e. kazoos) were brought out and it was time to play!

Saba's store

This trip was the first time the kids got to really check out Hickeys, and it was a great time.

Noah liked the trumpet and the trombone

 

And gave the flute his best effort

 

 

But Eva really dominated the low brass

 

 

Then they both jammed out on the violin

Nana and Saba's house

Chad had a weekend event for work so we took off for Tully. We had some cool but beautifully sunny weather so we headed out on the boat

Noah: weehee I'm on a boat!!

Tippy the parakeet was exceptionally friendly this visit

Fortress

For the past few days, Noah and Eva have been working on this sweet blanket fort.

Please notice the nice hammock on top and the space for storage in the back.

Rent starts at $450/month.  It is in Newton and T-accessible, after all.

Someone (Noah) found a dead cicada.

Someone (Mommy) is really trying to just acknowledge how cool they are without communicating that giant bugs really freak her out.
