Baby Playdate

Eva and her buddy Alden, both 10mo. Please ignore the mommy chatter in the background.



I love watching the two of them play - they interact with each other so well. Shortly before they discovered the screen door Eva picked up a small teddy bear and knee-walked it across the room, then handed it to Alden. They will coo at each other and pat each other on the head or the knee. They will listen to a book together and one of them will turn the pages while the other watches. I think they are both so relieved to get to interact with someone at their own level instead of a dominating big brother. :)

Sibling Photo shoot

Even though the shirts are cute, the children aren't so cooperative when it comes to picture taking...

I suspect this will be one of many, many photo shoots where we don't get any very good photos.

Ah well, let's give up and have a group hug.

Blanket Time

Noah really likes it when Eva comes down to play on the blanket.

Earrings

Noah decided to use his puzzle pieces for ear jewelry today.




Which was funny and adorable but kind of hard to photograph.

Noah's fire engine

This game went on for about a half hour.

It didn't end until he had moved almost all of his toys from his toybox to the chair, and Daddy and Mommy had to fiercely advocate for bathtime...

Tummy Time

Eva doesn't really like it any more than her brother did

But her diaper does match the blanket, which is a plus.

Even though she complains, she is really quite strong. Today I put her on her tummy and she rolled over onto her back! I'm not sure she could do it again (I'm not sure she did it on purpose), but we were quite impressed. My little gymnast.
