So mom and I had this great idea to take Noah up to Taughannock falls. Noah was totally psyched to ride in the backpack because he can now say "backpack."
Yeah, he was all about the pack. For about five minutes.
You see, in the backpack, you can't throw rocks into the water.
Or stick your feet in the waterfalls.
So instead of walking up to the falls, we just did this. A lot.
Man, was I wet. But not as soaked as Noah's diaper.
Apparently we wore him out. Eventually we stripped him down and replaced the diaper and he fell asleep 10 steps back onto the trail.
Even though we didn't make it anywhere near the falls, it was hard to be disappointed. The Trumansburg creek gorge may be my favorite place on the planet.

Apples!
Hi, we're still alive, and made it back from vacation. Please stay tuned for several posts about how fun it was. One cool thing we did with Nana and Saba was go apple picking.
Noah took to the apples right away
Got one!!
And it didn't take long to convince him they would be good for eating.
Then we had the great idea to have the cousins pose for a picture with their apples.
You can see how well that went.
I like how Dylan is actually moving in these pictures, while Noah is stoically holding a constant ridiculous face.
And then he just gives up.
Screw you guys, I'm going home.
Fin.

Guitar Lesson
One of the nice things about living away from your neighbors is you can have your early morning guitar lesson as early as you want.
Not captured: after the lesson was over and everyone dispersed, Noah returned to his guitar and started strumming and singing "ee-i-ee-i-oh" at the top of his lungs. It was awesome.

Baby washing
Noah and his friend Caroline went to the Children's Museum last week, and got to practice washing babies.
Noah did a great job. He carefully washed the baby's hair...
And rinsed the baby off...
And splashed the baby with a tiger...
On second thought, perhaps this isn't a good job for him after all.
Also, perhaps we won't have our new baby in a giant babywashing pool for toddlers...

Swimming Cap
This came after days of Noah asking to wear this cap. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to get a dry swim cap on the head of a dry toddler? It is hard.
But worth it for the comedy.

Noah's bath
Noah is really working on putting some words together, which is so neat to watch. It's almost unbelievable that he comes up with this stuff without our telling him what to say.
We took this video a few days ago and he's already better at saying this. It's so fun to watch him figure all this out.

Yellow Song
Of course, only 1/10 of the song was actually captured on tape, but you get the idea.
