Speaking with Noah ctd.

We went to the zoo yesterday and Noah got to talk to some ducks.

They were just chilling on the top of the display, which cracked him up.

We went to the zoo because Noah asked to go shortly after getting up in the morning. I think we have entered a new phase where he can actually dictate what we do in a day, which is really neat. Unfortunately it is raining today and he keeps asking if we can go to the park, which may prove to be disappointing.

Speaking of speaking with Noah, there are a few more toddler speech mistakes that I want to share for baby archival purposes:

"Muskak" = music

"Upsing down" = upside down

"fweep" = sleep

"fwimming" = swimming

"misconsin" = Wisconsin, also the destination of any plane he sees in the sky

Also he has a new favorite joke that he has been telling for days:

N: Knock Knock!

R: who's there?

N: Mommy!

R: Mommy who?

N: Mommy you!! HAHAHAH!!

R: sigh.

Two is a fun age. He really cracks me up, when he's not driving me up a wall. And sometimes he does both at the same time.

The grandbrady bunch converged on Boston last weekend for Zach's graduation (Congratulations!!). This was very exciting for us because we got to see everybody AND spend time on the train.

Of course, Dad has a fancy new camera now so we let most of the time go undocumented, since even though I totally love my iphone his pictures really are much better. We did get a few good ones, though:

Nana is apparently going to invest in one of those clear whiteboards for her house. I am not sure how tippy is going to like this idea.

Noah also got to try out the pool with Saba (and Dylan, and the rest of the Blumkin crew)

After swimming, we all cleaned up and got ready to go out to dinner. New BFFs Dylan and Noah liked having their picture taken.

But were more skeptical once the siblings were introduced

And the cousins...

But once the grandparents were put in charge the picture improved considerably.

The group then headed out to dinner, where Noah and Dylan managed to keep themselves confined to our semi-private room for over two hours. I was impressed. They (and by "they," I really mean "Noah," let's be honest) struggled a bit with the concept of "PLEASE do not roll around on the restaurant floor), but once I told them they could fall up instead of fall down they did pretty well.

What a great day.
